Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in the physical sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Materials) and minimum 12 years of prior relevant Energetics Materials experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (PhD) strongly preferred.
  • Strong skills in energetic material theoretical predictions, development, manufacturing, and function.
  • Experience in energetic material properties, including safe handling, performance, and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop resource plans and programs for area of responsibility to ensure strategic objectives are achieved.
  • Provide safe, thorough, and practicable solutions to a wide range of technical problems involving the conventional utilization of chemical analysis techniques.
  • Have full technical responsibility for planning, organizing, and conducting technical projects involving energetic materials within a broad range of chemical tests, analyses or syntheses.
  • Conduct independent investigations involving the application of advanced principles of chemistry.
  • Consolidate results and prepare findings and recommendation documents.
