Role Definition Provides technical expertise and guidance in manufacturing process development projects for the continuous improvement of the safety, quality, velocity and cost of manufacturing

Requirements

  • 3 -5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field with a proven track record in managing complex projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in mentoring and developing relationships with management and hourly employees.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of standard work and designing process standards in area assigned and developing and deploying best practices.
  • Strong experience dealing with capital projects and the ability to maintain and complete multiple projects of varying levels.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma experience and understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical expertise and guidance in major manufacturing projects, working with internal/external suppliers to support/improve manufacturing productivity and cost effectiveness.
  • Evaluating enterprise systems and the coordination of those systems with the total plant.
  • Directing suppliers to analyze their current or proposed product/process designs to determine feasibility of using existing designs or modifying the designs to improve process and/or product.
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to manufacturing engineers and operators in order to develop high quality products and processes.
