The East Region Property Site Execution team is seeking a highly motivated and energetic self-starter that requires limited managerial oversight. As a Property Custodian Coordinator, you will act as the primary operational liaison responsible for building and maintaining a sustainable custodian network across all functional areas within Raytheon. In this role, you will work closely with Site Property Managers, the PMO, and Lab Managers to ensure custodian assignments are properly aligned with site requirements and operational priorities. This role is essential to manage increased workload that drives consistency, accountability and overall performance across sites, ultimately mitigating risk and enabling staff to focus on core deliverables. Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years' experience.
  • Experience with either Government Property Asset Management, Property, Operations, or Supply Chain.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Property, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain & Operations.
  • National Property Management Association [NPMA] Certified Professional Property Specialist [CPPS] certification, or able to obtain certification within 1 year of employment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP (APEX, PRISM), cPDM, and asset tracking systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships based on mutual respect with peers, customers, and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on long-term planning, program development, and cross-functional alignment: Design and implement a strategy for expanding the Property Custodian Network at strategic sites using tools and methodologies developed by the project team.
  • Establish and manage a structured feedback loop with Custodian Supervisors to evaluate performance, recognize top performers, and drive continuous improvement across the network.
  • Partner closely with the PMO to guide the selection and replacement processes for Property Custodians, ensuring consistency and alignment with program objectives.
  • Periodically assess custodian network levels/categories to ensure site relevance and scalability for evolving operational requirements.
  • Works autonomously to manage day-to-day execution, data management, and operational support.
  • Independently oversee the validation, coordination, and delivery of Property Custodian training programs to ensure readiness and compliance.
  • Maintain and regularly update the master Property Custodian listing, ensuring accuracy across all cross-functional areas.
  • Monitor custodian performance and workload distribution, providing routine reporting and identifying areas requiring support or rebalance.
  • Review weekly inventory compliance reports, initiating timely escalations to management when issues or risks are identified.
  • Perform required record updates in the SAP Property System [SPS] for assigned custodians, ensuring data integrity and alignment with property management standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining and reporting key metrics to senior leadership.
