About The Position

Position Title: Principal Infrastructure Engineer, Arista Location: US, Remote (Ideally Bay Area) Duration: 6+ Months Key Responsibilities Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance Arista Solution Implementation & Support: Arista Network Architecture & Operations: Design, configure, and manage Arista network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and automation tools. Support the development and optimization of customer network requirements leveraging Arista’s Extensible Operating System (EOS) and Cloud Vision. Implement network automation using Python, Ansible, or Cloud Vision APIs to streamline configuration management and monitoring. Troubleshoot and resolve complex Layer 2/3 network issues within Arista environments. Propose and implement system enhancements to improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of Arista network integrations. Support day-to-day operations, upgrades, and patching of Arista infrastructure. Collaboration & Documentation: Participate in the development and support of customer technical requirements across network and application delivery domains. Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to achieve shared goals. Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbook

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with demonstrated expertise in Arista.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of routing, switching, network security, and automation in data center or cloud architecture.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Arista Certifications:ACE: L1–L3 or equivalent experience.
  • DoD Certification:IAT Level II (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.).
