About The Position

As a Principal Infrastructure Architect specializing in Siemens Teamcenter PLM, you will serve as a key consultant responsible for fostering strong relationships with customers and guiding them in realizing their vision within their respective industries. This role demands a blend of excellent interpersonal skills, technical expertise in AWS and DevOps, and strong leadership capabilities. You will be part of the Professional Services team, collaborating closely with Consultants, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Industry Experts, and Product Development teams to ensure the success of projects and customer satisfaction. Your understanding of how our client’s PLM services integrate with customer initiatives and business drivers will be crucial in delivering value. In this position, you will leverage industry best practices and templates to deliver PLM software solutions that provide significant customer value. You will lead project activities that involve conducting system performance reviews and defining configuration settings to optimize system performance. Your role will also include analyzing and translating infrastructure requirements into comprehensive architectural design documents that outline solutions integrating across various applications, systems, and platforms to meet business objectives. You will be responsible for designing the deployment architecture and determining the necessary infrastructure hardware sizing in alignment with customer strategies, roadmaps, IT policies, and standards. Additionally, you will define activities to analyze, tune, and monitor customer environments to ensure optimal performance and stability of PLM products. Your expertise in customization and software extension points of PLM products will help you assess the impact of these customizations on hardware infrastructure design. You will provide guidance and support for go-live and post-production activities, ensuring adherence to best practices. Your role will also involve supporting project management activities to control scope, cost, schedule, and quality, while effectively communicating project processes and progress to customers to manage expectations and facilitate adoption. You will oversee the implementation of the overall Teamcenter PLM solution, which encompasses installation, upgrade activities, and integration with other software applications.
