The Principal Human Resources Consultant (PHRC) serves as a strategic consultant and subject matter expert to Area CHROs and Caregiver Relations Consultants, addressing complex employee relations matters. This role involves assessing compliance and policy concerns and providing recommendations for resolution, ensuring that Providence's caregivers are supported in a culture of patient-focused care.

  • Serve as a strategic consultant to Area CHROs and Caregiver Relations Consultants.
  • Identify and assess complex employee relations situations for compliance and policy concerns.
  • Make recommendations for resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Provide expert knowledge in areas such as Labor Relations, ADAAA, and leaves of absence.
  • 8 years of experience in general human resources or equivalent work experience at the exempt level in multi-state/location service line of business.
  • 8 years of demonstrated experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, ADAAA, and leaves of absence.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • HR Certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP or PHR, SHRM-CP) upon hire.
  • 5 years of project management experience.
  • 5 years of experience in Drug Free Workplace, Compliance, Performance Management, ADA/LOA.
  • 5 years of supervision of Human Resources staff or equivalent work experience.
