The position involves ensuring high quality implementation of instructional expectations, including balanced instruction, standards, and formative assessment. The role requires establishing and maintaining clear, consistent communications with parents, families, and community partners to receive input and feedback on the effectiveness of the school, improve family engagement, and resolve concerns. Additionally, the position entails anticipating and planning for staffing needs, developing, implementing, and monitoring Continuous School Improvement Plans (CSIP) aimed at improving student performance, and observing and evaluating the performance of employees. The individual will supervise student and staff conduct, monitor their progress toward achieving specified goals, and establish a positive school climate that includes high expectations, interactive teaching, and clearly defined goals and objectives. The role also includes implementing procedures to ensure a safe and orderly school environment, developing and managing a school budget according to established regulations and guidelines, and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
