About The Position

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Hardware Development team designs and builds mission-critical, ultra-high-performance, integrated compute and storage systems with sophisticated embedded software and advanced management services (ILOM, UEFI). Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a comprehensive and expansive platform of public cloud services that empowers customers to develop and deploy a diverse range of applications in a highly scalable, fortified, and high-availability environment, leveraging OCI Hardware Development-engineered systems that deliver unparalleled performance. We are seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer with expertise in test automation utilizing Python. You will be an integral part of a team that spearheads the development of innovative testing methodologies to validate the robustness of our platforms, conducts meticulous root-cause analysis of failures, and collaborates closely with development partners to implement corrective actions. Requirements

• Python expertise
• Experience with Linux and Linux Administration
• Experience with Rack Servers, Compute Storage, PCIe Devices and Lab Networking
• Proven experience in developing automated tests using Python

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional development and quality engineering teams to design, develop, and maintain automated test cases and test suites.
• Regularly maintain and update existing test cases and suites to accommodate platform enhancements and changes.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in technology and hardware to develop effective test cases.
• Execute test suites on platforms under test, analyze test failures, identify and report code and platform bugs, and update tests accordingly.
• Able to prioritize and deliver tasks with minimal supervision.
