Principal, Go-to-Market

GitwitTulsa, OK

About The Position

We’re not looking for someone to “run marketing” or own a single channel. We’re hiring a hands-on Principal, Go-to-Market to help early-stage ventures move from first idea to first traction thoughtfully, quickly, and by actually shipping work. This isn’t a strategy-only role. You won’t be building a big team to execute your plans. You are the builder. The one launching the landing page. Spinning up the outbound test. Talking to customers. Trying things, learning fast, and adjusting in real time. This person helps answer the hard early questions: Who is this really for? What problem matters most? What’s worth testing next? Gitwit is a venture studio that builds and launches companies from the ground up. You’ll work across multiple teams and ideas, partnering closely with founders, product, and design to help new ventures meet the market for the first time. If you like shaping direction through action, not decks, you’ll thrive here. What We’re Working On Every new venture starts in uncertainty. The early days aren’t about scale. They’re about clarity: Do we have the right ICP? Does the problem resonate? Does the solution land? Does anyone actually care? Before a company can grow, it needs real-world proof. Your job is to help create that proof. Your Role as Principal, Go-to-Market You’ll lead early go-to-market efforts across multiple ventures, tailoring your approach based on the stage, market, and product. Rather than managing big launches, you’ll design and run small, fast experiments that generate signal quickly. This role is a great fit if you: Prefer building over managing Like turning ambiguity into concrete next steps Ship scrappy tests instead of waiting for perfect plans Get energy from talking to customers directly Stay curious about new tools, AI workflows, and faster ways to execute Partner with founders and product teams to shape and evolve early GTM strategy Personally run experiments end-to-end (landing pages, paid tests, outbound, partnerships, creative iterations). You will have top-drawer designers to work with and can outsource the help you need to execute when you need it. Talk directly with customers and prospects every week Translate feedback into clear recommendations for what to pursue (or drop) Develop messaging, positioning, and basic launch assets yourself Use modern tools, no-code, and AI to move faster than a traditional team Create simple frameworks and documentation that improve future launches In short: You don’t hand work off. You ship it. Why This Role Matters Early decisions shape everything that comes next. The experiments you run will influence: which ventures move forward how products are positioned and where we invest more time and capital You won’t just support launches. You’ll help decide what’s worth building.
