About The Position

Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company has an immediate opening for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer in the Houston, Texas office. The candidate will serve as the Principal-in-Charge of projects and will direct, review, and oversee projects and provide guidance to engineering staff. Additional job duties may include:

Selecting project managers for projects and directing and assisting the project manager throughout project duration.
Interfacing with clients and attend meetings, as necessary.
Assuming technical responsibility for project components and providing technical assistance to project managers and engineering staff.

Requirements

• licensed professional engineer in Texas
• over 10 years of related experience
• well-rounded background in geotechnical engineering
• strong work ethic
• excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• track record of successful client relationship and service
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• positive attitude
• problem solving skills

Nice To Haves

• MS Degree in geotechnical engineering is preferred
