Job Description We are seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join the Risk Workstation Product Area to develop high-quality applications servicing Risk and other business units. You will have the opportunity to be part of the team to modernize this critical application that allows the firm to manage many types of risks. The Expertise We’re Looking For You are experienced with a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks. 5+ years of experience working with Java, Angular, Springboot, Oracle, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS -EKS. You have hands-on technical leadership experience leading and mentoring scrum teams focused on building software solutions for business critical, architecturally distributed experiences. You are experienced architecting and producing technical designs and solutions and working with squad members to break these down into deliverable pieces of work You have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and influence in meaningful discussions with partners across business and architecture. Application design & development experience across the following: o Relational Database (ideally Oracle) o REST API development Experience with build, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, etc.) Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS is a plus) Experience with Agile development practices and the value they bring to development teams Proven ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders Background in brokerage trading applications/systems a plus The Skills You Bring Produce high-quality code, with high test coverage, following Fidelity processes, standards, and methodologies Ensuring systems in your assigned area are robust, resilient and stable You will ensure the end-to-end delivery of requirements or user stories meets the needs and expectations of our business partners A track record of mentoring junior team members You have an innovative mindset to contribute and deliver new ideas and solutions The Value You Deliver Work with a multi-functional team to understand project objectives, use cases and systems design requirements. The base salary range for this position is $107,000-216,000 USD per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
