No matter your role, you'll have the opportunity to make a difference at Andersen. We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Principal Analyst to join our Go-to-Market Finance team. This role is critical in supporting our sales team while also collaborating closely on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess 7+ years of financial analysis experience in retail, manufacturing, or direct-to-consumer industries and have a proven ability to deliver insights that impact strategic decisions and business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business partners to develop and manage budgets, forecasts and financial models to drive effective decision-making processes.
  • Engage closely with Sales and other GTM teams to align financial objectives and support strategic business decisions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and model potential promotions and other sales initiatives.
  • Evaluate financial performance, analyzing results and providing actionable insights to improve profitability.
  • Assess current financial processes, recommend, and implement improvements for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in financial analysis within retail, manufacturing, or direct-to-consumer industries.
  • Advanced financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, with experience in analyzing manufacturing, retail, or direct-to-consumer business metrics such as cost structures, inventory management, pricing strategies, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly present financial insights to both financial and non-financial audiences; proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.
  • Self-starter who proactively identifies improvement opportunities and effectively manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or relevant certifications (CFA, CPA) are a plus.
