About The Position

We are seeking an exceptional Principal Finance Manager to lead a comprehensive transformation of our inventory financial management and optimization processes for the Devices & Services organization. This role will partner closely with Devices FP&A, Accounting, Devices Operations & Stores Operations teams to drive financial excellence, establish robust controls, and optimize inventory performance across our global supply chain. You'll join the Devices OPD Finance team, working closely with Devices FP&A, Product Line CFOs, Accounting, Device Ops & Stores Ops leaders across DGL and RL. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the financial health and operational efficiency of our Devices & Services business.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
  • Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or or other BI packages

  • MBA, or CPA
  • Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes

Responsibilities

  • Lead a comprehensive transformation of inventory financial management and optimization processes in partnership with Devices FP&A, Accounting, and Operations
  • Partner with Devices Product Line CFOs, Devices Ops and Stores Ops senior leaders to create inventory financial optimization goals and drive necessary execution across Device Global Logistics (DGL) and Reverse Logistics (RL) teams
  • Take a holistic approach to inventory financial governance and stewardship, establishing performance KPIs and monthly inventory review mechanisms to drive organizational alignment and best practices
  • Partner with Devices FP&A and Accounting to address all control and risk management deficiencies that could have negative impact on D&S financial results
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls to ensure compliance and accuracy across inventory processes
  • Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Oversee the monthly inventory-related P&L close process, including tracking and analyzing inventory adjustments and transfers
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational processes
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on inventory financial performance

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,000/year in our highest geographic market.
