At Autodesk, we do what no other company can: we help our customers design and make anything. As we continue to transform how customers experience Autodesk, we are investing in insight-driven product development, seamless digital experiences, and AI-powered innovation to help people achieve meaningful outcomes faster and smarter. To deliver on that vision, we need exceptional contributors and leaders who are curious, adaptable, customer-focused, and excited to help shape the future of work at Autodesk. We are seeking a Principal Experience Designer, Agents and Workflows to join the Applied Intelligence design team in the Experience Foundations organization of the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) Division. This is strategic design role focused on defining the core interaction model for Autodesk’s future agentic product experiences, with particular emphasis on notebook-style and workflow-oriented surfaces. You will be accountable for designing how users initiate, iterate, and operationalize work with AI, shaping human–AI collaboration patterns that feel intuitive, contextual, and outcome-driven rather than task-driven. This role requires deep interaction design craft across emerging paradigms such as search, data-informed personalization, and context-aware experiences. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Personalization, Content Design, including designers working in adjacent AI-focused spaces, while leveraging existing user research and experience architecture to turn complex system capabilities into clear, usable, and trustworthy experiences while modeling strong cross-functional ways of working.
