About The Position
The Clark County Environment & Sustainability Department is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Principal Environmental Specialist position in the Sustainability section. This position plays a critical role in the County's efforts to implement the All-in Clark County Sustainability and Climate Action Plan. The Principal Environmental Specialist will manage and implement climate and sustainability projects, identify and coordinate funding efforts and supervise Environmental Specialists. This position will also provide highly responsible technical and administrative support to the Climate and Sustainability Program Manager. This examination will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months or may be extended as needed by Human Resources. Human Resources reserves the right to call only the most qualified applicants to the selection process.
