About The Position

At PointClickCare, we are looking for a Principal Enterprise Architect to work with the IT team, product teams, and senior executives to drive the design of our enterprise domain taxonomy. This role requires deep expertise in the modernization and transformation of mission-critical applications, aligning them with core business domains. The ideal candidate will champion the alignment of business and technology capabilities, ensuring the buildout of an enterprise taxonomy framework that underpins domain roadmaps and technology transformation. The Principal Enterprise Architect will report to the Director of Enterprise Architecture and will be responsible for executing the strategic vision for the Enterprise Architecture practice under leadership guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a senior domain architect or senior enterprise architect.
• Prior experience as a Principal Enterprise Architect in a global organization.
• Experience with planning and leading architecture delivery for large-scale business and systems transformation programs.
• Proven track record of successfully leading large scale Salesforce initiatives from concept to delivery.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture capabilities and ecosystem.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect preferred.
• 5 years of hands-on enterprise architecture framework experience (TOGAF, C4, Archimate, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Generative AI Code Assistants and knowledge of latest Generative AI Model capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute the strategic vision for the Enterprise Architecture practice under the guidance of leadership.
• Collaborate with domain architects, engineers, and leaders to develop technical standards, reference architectures, design patterns, and architecture decision frameworks.
• Develop and manage a technical strategy and coordinate adoption.
• Manage the architecture review process by creating validation checklists and reviewing architectural artifacts.
• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions leveraging the Salesforce platform.
• Design and develop effective end-to-end solutions for complex business problems.
• Conduct research and develop Proof of Concepts on emerging technologies.
• Partner with data and integration architects to support data management and integration strategies.
• Contribute to building a vibrant learning community within the enterprise architecture discipline.
