About The Position

This role offers an opportunity for an experienced engineering designer to lead the creation and delivery of complex energy and industrial facility projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, supervise junior designers, and ensure high-quality, compliant, and timely project outputs. The position combines hands-on design work with leadership responsibilities, driving innovation in energy reliability, industrial efficiency, and advanced manufacturing. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients, oversee the development of technical drawings, and contribute to construction documentation, cost estimations, and production schedules. This role provides a platform to shape resilient engineering solutions while mentoring emerging talent in a flexible and supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in engineering document production within relevant disciplines.
  • Proficiency in design software including REVIT, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative work ethic.
  • Expert knowledge of engineering discipline and design drawing layout standards.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience supervising and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee research, preparation, and creation of contract and construction drawings using industry-standard software such as REVIT, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
  • Collaborate with design teams on multiple projects to ensure compliance with client, contractual, and company requirements.
  • Provide direct guidance and supervision to junior designers, ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency in project work.
  • Review complex contract documents and drawings, identifying and correcting errors to align with specifications.
  • Support the development of technical reports, material costs, construction estimations, and production schedules.
  • Conduct project review meetings and prepare project “As-Builts” documentation.
