You will report to the Senior Manager, APX Fleet Design Management and be located at any Westinghouse locations in North America or EMEA. The position is hybrid; you will be onsite 2 days per week.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Master's Degree in Engineering or Business
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in AP1000 plant or new nuclear plant design
  • Experience in multiple engineering disciplines and process development/improvement

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the technical execution of the AP1000 engineering schedule, recommend optimizations in design management processes
  • Maintain the engineering sections of the delivery plan
  • Maintain the standard engineering Division of Responsibilities (DoR) for AP1000 projects, help develop project-specific DoRs
  • Together with the project-specific teams, define and maintain the in-country resource development strategies to support future projects
  • Support leadership of the international internship program
  • Lead main technical teams, providing oversight while delegating work and mentoring team members
  • Provide technical guidance, direction, and collaborate with other personnel including partners suppliers, fabricators, and customers
  • Identify and define technical challenges, direct efforts to successful resolution
