Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • For Principal Test Engineer: BS + 5 years of experience; MS + 3 years of experience; PhD + 1 year of experience is required. 4 years’ experience can be substituted for BS degree.
  • For Senior Principal Test Engineer: BS + 8 years of experience; MS + 6 years of experience; PhD + 3 years of experience is required. 4 years’ experience can be substituted for BS degree.
  • Experience writing C++ applications.
  • Experience with GitLab.
  • Ability to take requirements and develop test completion criteria to verify end-to-end requirements, perform exploratory test cases, design and develop test cases, track and manage defects, execute regression testing and system testing to verify overall requirements.
  • Experience working Systems Requirements, Design Documentation, and all aspects of software development process.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Experience with calibrating sensor equipment.
  • Experience with Integrity RTOS from Green Hills.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and documents embedded software test applications and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
  • Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or SW engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
  • Determines test processes and scenarios based on requirements, develops automated tests, and executes SW testing.
