Cypress Semiconductor Corporation is seeking a Principal Engineer Test (San Jose, CA) to develop Automated Test Equipment (ATE) test solutions for highly integrated RF SoC Integrated Circuits (ICs) for Wireless connectivity devices on Advantest 93000 and UFlex tester platforms. Interface with cross functional Design, DFT, PMU, RD, and DVT teams to develop and present test plans. Debug and design the required device interface boards (DIB) and test programs that are to be used for device characterization, qualification, and production. Cooperate with Partner and Product Engineering Teams for production characterization and reliability testing. Optimize test times and yields of the Final Test Program for both FE and BE production releases. Provide ongoing support for Test Program enhancements to ensure high quality and cost-effective manufacturing outputs. Build multiple sets of correlated production DIBs and transfer them to offshore manufacturing sites (OSATs). Resolve early production and mass production issues. Work with cross functional engineering teams in failure analysis to define corrections while ensuring ongoing production quality. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
