About The Position

Bring your software engineer skills to help build out our latest Products and Services against the Palo Alto Networks SAAS Security offering. We are looking for full stack engineers who have knowledge on Java, cloud computing (AWS and GCP), Redis, Elastic, Mongo and other Relational databases. Requirements

• 8yr+ Expertise in coding with Java (JDK 1.8+), backend systems
• Strong experience to develop APIs (REST) based project using and experience with JSON
• 7yrs+ Hands-on experience developing large scale cloud applications
• Experience in NoSQL DB (Mongo, Cassandra)
• Experience in ElasticSearch, Redis and Kafka
• Experience in UI technologies like Javascript, React
• Experience in modern containerization (& cloud) technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in AWS/GCP/Azure cloud
• Experienced with Web Frameworks - Spring, Spring Boot
• Experience with microservices
• Experience being part of an agile team building out Full Stack products
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with teammates in a highly collaborative environment and simultaneously be a self-starter with strong individual contributions
• M.S/B.S degree in Computer Science or equivalent 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent military experience required

Nice To Haves

• SSPM, CSPM or general SaaS application experience is a plus
• Enjoy crafting elegant and scalable solutions
• Experience working on FedRamp initiatives will be a big plus

Responsibilities

• Execute on the software development strategy to improve our dynamic highly distributed system
• Understand and implement software development/engineering lifecycle concepts to drive features from conception to delivery
• Collaborate closely with the product management, architects and dev-ops to achieve quality releases
• Work hand-in-hand with customer support, documentation and downstream teams to enable customer success
• Make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-release while maintaining performance and scalability requirements
• Be able to clearly communicate goals and desired outcomes to internal project teams
• Interview, mentor and coach new team members
