PMTS-Apps for AI Market Job Category: Module Design Experience Level: Experienced Work Schedule: Full-Time Location: U.S. – San Jose, CA Description Candidates will define and develop new power modules for AI Market. The job requires solid analog and digital power systems design with commensurate laboratory skills, as well as magnetics design/analysis, supporting module development and promotion acitivities Additional job responsibilities include writing circuit documentation and application notes. Clear and concise communications skills are also essential. More specifically, the candidate needs to contribute in the following areas: New Power Module Development Verify the architecture and power solution through behavioral simulations. Design and debug of new power module Verify the module structure and validate the magnetics design Perform dedicated functional test on new products in development to identify bugs and limitations Define the new power stage for power block/VPD module Define the new PB/VPD structure Development of Reference Designs and Collaterals Generate and validate reference designs for system verification. Develop design collaterals to assist customers with designs, such as datasheets, evaluation kit manuals application notes, layout guidelines. Performing verification and testing of evaluation kits, and generating evaluation reports for customers Team support Support FAEs and remote Application Teams Support Troubleshooting of difficult or unusual technical problems Suggest product and application improvements. Requirements

  • MSEE preferred.
  • 10+ years or equvilent experience with system level power management products and application.
  • Strong knowledge of high power, high performance Buck, Forward, Flyback converts in AI market.
  • Strong Automation test skill in LabVIEW or Python.
  • Strong communications skills and open to travel as necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of MAXWELL magnectics design.
  • Strong writing, technical drawing and verbal communications skills for writing product datasheets, documenting lab reports and creating product application notes.
  • Proficient in writing professional technical documents and datasheets and creating technical drawings using MS Word and Visio.
