Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree and 5 years of Test, Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality experience; or a Master's Degree and 3 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management System or certification in process.
  • Experience with creating and dispositioning nonconforming material reports.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams to resolve problems or issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with the Material Review Board (MRB) process.
  • Experience with interpreting and presenting quality metrics.
  • Experience working with electrical or mechanical design requirements and specifications (IPC, J-STD, MIL-STD).
  • Experience with printed circuit boards (PCB’s).
  • Experience in manufacturing circuit card assemblies (CCA’s) utilizing surface mount technologies.
  • Experience with how circuit card assemblies are produced and current understanding of design and manufacturability challenges.
  • Experience performing drawing reviews and using modeling tools such as MES, NX, TeamCenter.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience executing AS9102 First Article Inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Define and monitor mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of responsible programs.
  • Support the development, implementation and maintenance of quality policy and procedures within the Quality Management System (QMS) including performing internal audits to assess conformance.
  • Review practices, procedures and processes seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness and reduce risk to product quality.
  • Interpret customer technical and MA requirements, and ensure these requirements are integrated into program plans, specifications and product drawings.
  • Ensure program contract requirements are flown down internally and to suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with contract program, quality, organizational, and industry alert requirements.
  • Provide oversight into discrepancy review and failure investigations, as well as cause and corrective action determinations.
  • Analyze and interpret trends and execute improvements on key metrics.
  • Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis, and Problem-Solving activities on program-specific, quality system and business system deficiencies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
  • Perform statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
