Principal Engineer - Medium Voltage, Switchgear & Assemblies
About The Position
UL Solutions is seeking a Principal Engineer - Medium Voltage, Switchgear & Assemblies with expertise in high voltage systems, such as circuit-breaker, switchgear, substation and associated equipment, etc . This role acts as a Global Subject Matter Expert (SME) within our principal engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of experience in electrical power distribution systems with familiarity in standards such as UL 2748, IEEE C12, C37, C57 series, IEC 62271 series, and related standards. This role requires a strong client-facing mindset, technical leadership, and the ability to influence stakeholders. This role can be located in: United States Canada United Kingdom Germany Spain Italy India (This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in any ULS office.)
Requirements
- Expertise in high voltage systems, such as circuit-breaker, switchgear, substation and associated equipment, etc
- At least 10 years of experience in electrical power distribution systems
- Familiarity in standards such as UL 2748, IEEE C12, C37, C57 series, IEC 62271 series, and related standards
