Requirements

  • Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering field and 8 years of progressive experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or related role in the aerospace industry. In the alternative, must possess at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering field and 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or related role in the aerospace industry would be acceptable.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience using CATIA V5 for 3D modeling and manufacturing drawings in the aerospace industry.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with NC programming for complex aerospace components.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience applying continuous improvement and process optimization methodologies (Six Sigma Green Belt Certification).
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience in tool design and development for aerospace manufacturing applications.
  • Non-US Person - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position. The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design and plan layout for assembly and materials handling.
  • Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
  • Plan sequence of operations and specification procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
  • Develop manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.
  • Provide guidance for engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
