About The Position
This position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of battery thermal management systems on Komatsu mining machines. Decarbonization is one of the key strategic pillars to both Komatsu and our customers, with a Komatsu objective of 50/50/50% reduction in scope 1-3 emissions by 2030 and net zero by 2050. With the increase in battery technologies being developed on Komatsu machines, battery thermal management is a key factor to optimizing the system performance on the machines.
