In your new role you will execute system solution roadmap that help Infineon achieve the goal to be market leader in AI data center, Telecom solution provider. You will lead the conceptualization, design and validation of state-of-the-art power electronics sub systems tailored for high-density AI accelerators, including custom DC-DC power converters, and highly dynamic power supply architectures. Focus on high efficiency, high density designs capable of sustaining the high transient power demands inherent to AI inference and training tasks. You will explore novel DC/DC power conversion methods such as resonant converters, wide-band gap semiconductors (e.g., GaN, SiC), and HV-IBC architectures to push the envelope of AI infrastructure. Additionally, you will evaluate and describe system architecture and application requirements for Telecom and Server power supplies, carry out research and study systems being sold on the market to understand topology, content and key technical issues, and perform teardowns. You will define quantifiable technical value propositions and collaterals on application level and evaluate new solutions such as GaN. You will be responsible for system concept verification and design-in collaterals, including concept evaluation designs and technical customer support on application level where needed. Conducting technical trainings on system level with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with the Digital marketing team for proper system solution positioning, and providing technical inputs to customer proposals (RFIs/RFQs) are also part of your responsibilities. Occasional travel (Approximately 25% of the time) for customer meetings is expected.
