The Antenna/Microwave and E3 Department provide innovative and affordable solutions to our customers in all business areas. We are responsible for designing phased array antenna systems including active and passive microwave components, radiators, radomes and a variety of RF subassemblies. We develop new technologies for advanced capabilities and provide support to all life-cycle phases of the best radar systems in active worldwide deployments and grow our people with exciting new challenges, on-the-job training, mentoring and purposeful rotations. This is an onsite role located in Marlborough, MA.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience with any combination of the following:
  • Experience with EMI/EMC analysis design and / or test
  • Experience with MATLAB, ANSYS / HFSS or CST Microwave
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in chosen Engineering/Technical field
  • Currently hold a DoD issued security clearance of Secret or higher
  • Strong expertise in the field of EMI design methodologies for military applications
  • Experience in Earned Value EVMS, and working TINA compliant proposal activities
  • Experience and understanding of TEMPEST hardening concepts and Red/ Black separation
  • Ability to provide detailed documentation related to EMI test plans and EMI procedures and as well as test reports with minimal revision and review
  • Knowledge of automated EMI test techniques and programming, specifically using TILE
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong customer focus with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD-461 test techniques

Responsibilities

  • Develop architecture for new designs, to support the capture, and technical execution within the Department.
  • Contribute to the development of suitable components and sub systems that achieve the performance requirements at the system level.
  • Provide technical conscience, challenged with making sure the product and process meet appropriate standards.
  • Ensure balance with risk conditions and constraints while advising leadership.
  • Visible and accountable for technical decisions.
  • Technical contact with the customer to include requirements, technical commitments, IRAD, future technical needs, etc.
  • Participate in major review boards such as Engineering Review Board, Failure Review Board, Risk and Opportunity Review Board etc.
