The Facilities Electrical designer/technician will be responsible for focusing on compliance with the RTX Corporate Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Electrical Safety Policy found in “FCP-OPSC-EHS-14” and specifically Section 4, “Policy,” addressing electrical equipment arc flash evaluation and labeling, both on a real time basis in support for continuous project design and construction execution efforts and on periodic time cycle review and updating, for over 5 million square feet (SF) of manufacturing and support area floor space on the Raytheon Tucson Airport Site. Additional duties will include functioning as project lead electrical designer in support of manufacturing factories, engineering and test laboratories, and office space renovations and modifications to the electrical power distribution system infrastructure and providing project construction technical oversight and support. The position will be based out of the Raytheon Tucson Airport Site, Tucson, Arizona. The successful candidate will support the Tucson Airport site, Airforce Plant 44 site, Tucson off-site locations as well as sites in Dine, New Mexico (Southwest Region) with occasional opportunities to consult on projects being executed within the West, Central, South, East and other regions of RTX Corporation’s portfolio.
