Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Eight (8) or more years of engineering experience
  • Strong background in analog circuit design principles
  • Occasional domestic and international travel required – up to 10%
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
  • Familiarity with nuclear equipment qualification (EQ), electrical safety and EMC compliance standards (IEEE, RCC-E, CSA, CE, and IEC)
  • Experience in using electrical CAD development tools such as Cadence, Allegro and PSpice
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, development, and qualification of low power, radiation tolerant analog or digital electronics used in pressure transmitters.
  • Sustaining engineering activities to support field investigations and resolve manufacturing or supply chain issues throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Define, perform, and document product development, equipment qualification, reliability, and regulatory compliance testing.
  • Develop innovative solutions and conduct technical feasibility studies for new products.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, marketing, suppliers, sales, and customers on technical matters.
  • Initiate and lead projects through the design and development process.
  • Effectively communicate or present technical concepts, project status, and issues to stakeholders.
