PRINCIPAL ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION DESIGNER

The Principal Electrical/Instrumentation Designer is responsible for performing detail design activities within the Electrical/Instrumentation discipline.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of design experience in a drafting environment developing One Line Diagrams, Electrical/Instrument plans, sections and details, schematics diagrams and wiring diagrams
- Minimum of 5 years of CAD experience, including 3D Design
- Working knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards
- Latest versions of AutoCAD
- High school diploma
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree or certification from technical trade school preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform complex designs and layouts of One-line Diagrams, E/I Plans, Sections & Details, Wiring Diagrams and Schematic Diagrams utilizing CAD hardware and software
- Train and direct CAD Operators and Designers, as required
- Review vendor drawings and other documents
