Position Purpose: Provides in-depth knowledge and expertise in the designs architecture for an organization at an enterprise level. Defines system and application architecture and communicates vision, problem anticipation, and problem-solving ability to the organization. Participates in creating strategies and policies to meet overall business goals. Oversees implementation of architecture systems and advises adjustments to senior management. Drive technical solution discussions with business partner teams using non-technical language to ensure understanding. Work collaboratively with other portfolio teams to ensure the development of resuable solutions that can cross LOBs. Lead the development of solution architectures for large and complex IT projects, covering aspects such as infrastructure, applications, data, security, integration, and cloud. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the delivery and engineering teams, resolving any technical issues or conflicts, and ensuring compliance with the solution architecture. Review and validate the technical deliverables, such as design documents, test plans, configuration guides, and deployment scripts, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement. Manage and maintain the relationship with the internal stakeholders, technical leadership, and the vendors, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and satisfaction. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the solution architecture practice, by sharing best practices, lessons learned, and industry trends. Manage small team of solution architects. Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires deep functional and Centene specific knowledge with 6 – 8 years of related experience.
  • Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
  • Must have at least five years of Payer Experience spanning multiple functional domains.
