About The Position
Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Principal Digital Electrical Engineer to perform duties at a work center with an emphasis on communications products. The primary work product is the complete digital design of a PCB (Printed Wiring Board) from inception through layout and assembly. Responsibilities include the ability to follow hardware design requirements, observe design checklists, adhere to accepted processes, prepare design documentation and work within a team environment. The ability to coordinate with Layout, Systems, Mechanical, Test, FPGA, and Software engineers is a must. Moreover, proficiency with analog and mixed-signal circuits is desirable. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances, effectively network, and communicate at all levels of the organization to ensure successful completion of projects in support of aggressive schedules. Other desirable attributes include operating with the highest level of personal integrity and be able to work under own initiative, calm under pressure and responsive to change with a logical approach to technical problem resolution and decision making.
