About The Position

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a Principal Advisory Consultant to shape and transform how enterprises leverage cloud technology. This strategic role will influence leaders across industries, market segments, and technical domains to drive transformative business outcomes. As a Principal-level advisor, you will be responsible for identifying patterns across customers, developing new architectural patterns, and creating innovative capabilities that define the future of cloud adoption. Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, as a Principal Delivery Consultant you will drive innovation and influence executive-level stakeholders across multiple organizations. You'll work closely with stakeholders as trusted advisors providing guidance on industry trends, enterprise cloud transformation, and innovative cloud solutions. You will be responsible for sales support, ensuring alignment to customer business outcomes and value realization. The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in cloud architecture and implementation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years experience in enterprise cloud transformation initiatives involving C-suite executives with at least 5 enterprise cloud transformation initiatives from the following industries: GameTech, Regulated Gaming, Telco, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Energy, or Retail/CPG
• 10+ years experience implementing at least 3 technology solutions in one or more of the following domains that delivered minimum 15% cost reduction or $1M+ annual revenue growth: Cloud Strategy and Business Value Alignment, Enterprise Transformation, Cloud Operating Models & Governance, Data & AI Transformation
• Led a minimum of 3 cross-functional teams of 10+ members each, managing complex programs spanning at least 2 distinct organizations per program, within the past 5 years

Nice To Haves

• Strong understanding of multiple industry verticals and their specific cloud adoption challenges
• AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Machine Learning, Solutions Architect)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Deep expertise in emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Agentic AI, and their enterprise applications
• Strong communication ability to create and deliver compelling technical and business presentations to VP and C-level audiences
• Write effective narratives and present them to leadership across teams

• Mentor and develop leaders while growing a culture of collaboration, empathy, and inclusion
• Balance risk and quality while creating mechanisms to address recurring escalation patterns
