As a Principal Datacenter and EOC Operations Manager, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional IT support to the customer. As a Principal Datacenter and EOC Operations Manager, you'll manage day-to-day datacenter operations, including infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, maintenance scheduling, and vendor coordination to maintain 99.9%+ uptime and compliance with SLAs. During emergency activations, you'll establish and operationalize EOC datacenters, deploying temporary or mobile infrastructure to enable rapid command-and-control capabilities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in datacenter operations management, with demonstrated expertise in both routine maintenance and emergency response environments
  • Proven track record leading EOC or crisis datacenter setups and de-activations in government or high-stakes settings
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and transferable)
  • Strong knowledge of federal IT and emergency management standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIMS) and ITIL practices for service operations
  • Proficiency in datacenter management tools (e.g., DCIM software, monitoring platforms) and emergency infrastructure deployment
  • Excellent leadership and crisis management skills, with the ability to coordinate under pressure in 24/7 scenarios
  • Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness

Nice To Haves

  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification
  • Cisco Certified Specialist - Data Center Operations certification
  • Experience supporting DoD or large federal datacenters and EOCs, including mobile/tactical deployments and hybrid cloud integrations
  • Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Background in Lean Six Sigma for process optimization in datacenter and emergency contexts
  • Master's degree in a relevant field or additional certifications (e.g., CISSP for secure operations)
