The Principal Data Engineer designs, develops, modifies, configures, debugs and evaluates solutions for extracting data from various sources, implements transformation logic, and stores data in various formats fit for use by the resource planning and strategy team. Collects metadata about jobs/sources including data lineage and transformation logic to create data models and ensure data is accessible to the team. Works with IT teams, data owners, functional area leads and leadership throughout the development cycle practicing continuous improvement. The data engineer identifies and solves current gaps in data requirements and creates ease of access to ensure fast and consistent responses to leadership inquiries. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.
