The Principal Data Analyst is responsible for leading Sales Performance Management and Incentive Plan Administration efforts. Key areas of responsibility include: Goal Allocation: Lead the development of goal allocation models and analytics using benchmarking data, opportunity metrics, and coverage models for assigned business lines. Oversee the goal allocation process, developing analytics to assess impacts of changes and forecast future quarters, ensuring alignment with the financial plan. Support quarterly goal calibration sessions by developing recommendations and conducting impact analysis. Incentive Effectiveness, Data Modeling, and Trend Analysis: Lead productivity analysis and contribute to the incentive design model. Support and influence strategic initiatives, including acquisitions and branch segmentation designs. Stay current with the latest data analysis tools and processes to enhance team capabilities. Monitor industry trends to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Business Analysis: Gather business requirements and translate them into analytical and technical solutions. Manage projects of varying complexity and length, acting as team lead on certain projects. Develop documentation for process solutions. Administrative: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel. Utilize business intelligence tools like Tableau, Alteryx, or Varicent ELT. Partner with external vendors to ensure optimal use and outcomes of provided services.
