About The Position

This role is crucial for leading analytical efforts across a comprehensive healthcare data ecosystem. You will be tasked with defining analytical standards, designing core data models, and ensuring the clinical and financial metrics that support the business. This senior-level position requires deep expertise in Epic and a strong understanding of healthcare analytics. Your contributions will enable better decision-making and service delivery for older adults in their independent aging journey.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics
  • Expertise in Epic Clarity and medical claims datasets
  • Advanced SQL skills with a focus on performance optimization
  • Experience with data visualization tools, specifically Power BI
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data ontologies (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, etc.)
  • Proven experience in longitudinal patient analyses and interfacing with experts
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams in healthcare environments

Responsibilities

  • Master enterprise-level analytics across Epic Clarity, medical claims, and pharmacy claims
  • Translate complex clinical and financial questions into scalable analytic solutions
  • Support leadership decision-making with trusted dashboards and KPI definitions
  • Utilize SQL, Power BI, Git, and Jira to raise analytics standards
  • Partner with data engineering to design canonical data marts and ETL processes
  • Develop logic for patient analyses and quality measures
  • Lead data quality and code review standards for production-ready analytics
  • Maintain regulatory and audit reporting in a scalable manner
  • Act as a technical leader and mentor within the data team
