We are currently recruiting for a Principal Cybersecurity Strategist/Advisor with a current TS/SCI w/ poly to support a contract located in Chantilly, VA.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 16+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to interface with senior government stakeholders.
  • Must possess a current TS/SCI Polygraph

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development, updating, and implementation of directorate-wide cybersecurity strategy annually.
  • Advise on cybersecurity and risk issues, brief and advise senior leadership, advise, and collaborate with components and IT teams across the directorate.
  • Plan, coordinate and support associated meetings and offsite events, track activities throughout the year, engage and collaborate with external partners.
  • Delivers and sustains a cadre of cyber analytic personnel.
  • Recommends innovative management ideas and solutions related to Cyber Analytics.
  • Plans, prepares, and executes tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements as well as analyze/report test results.
  • Performs assessments of systems and networks within the network environment or enclave and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
  • Measures effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities.
  • Establishes strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems.
  • Assists in the implementation of the required government policy and may make recommendations on process tailoring.
  • Performs extensive analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards.
  • Provides advanced guidance and leadership to less experienced cybersecurity personnel.
