The Tactical Architecture Group is a group of lead network security architects and strategists within the ACC Enterprise Security Architecture organization. Work efforts include ideation, testing, proof of concept and support for various firewall/security projects. The team analyzes various hardware and/or software solutions and configuration options, recommending and identifying modifications to improve ACC's threat posture/risk. Additionally, the TAG team plays a lead role in transforming the legacy 'Conexus' network into a modernized segmented network, providing roadmaps, direction, guidance and consultation to operations teams. This position will work with our partner organizations in Labs, ITO Network, and GTO to develop and realize strategies to achieve the target state architecture. The scope will impact all employees of the company and all business units.

Requirements

  • Expert level security architecture knowledge.
  • 8+ years of experience in networking technologies, firewall solutions, IDS/IPS, Linux/Unix command line tools, VMware, and Algosec or other policy management/orchestration tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting the security components of large enterprise networks.
  • Highly proficient in firewall support and engineering across multiple platforms.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Adept at conducting research and independently acquiring new skills as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security or equivalent experience.
