The Principal Cybersecurity Architect serves as the leading technical authority on secure architecture across the enterprise. This role is responsible for aligning the cybersecurity program with business objectives, identifying emerging threats, and providing expert guidance and mentorship to engineering and operations teams.   • Strategic Leadership : Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive cybersecurity transformation strategy and multi-year roadmaps in alignment with business and technology objectives.
  • Architecture Design : Plan, research, and design robust, scalable security architectures for all IT projects and infrastructure, including cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
  • Risk and Vulnerability Management : Conduct advanced threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses to identify potential security gaps and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Consultation and Guidance : Act as a subject matter expert (SME), advising cross-functional teams, including engineering, legal, compliance, and C-suite executives, on security best practices, protocols, and technical solutions.
  • Policy and Compliance : Define, implement, and maintain corporate security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27000, GDPR, PCI,).
  • Incident Response : Participate in security events and incident response to identify systemic design weaknesses and propose solutions to prevent recurrences.
  • Automation and Innovation : Champion the DevSecOps culture, leveraging programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) to automate security controls and develop reusable security frameworks.
  • Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to security engineers, analysts, and other cybersecurity professionals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in information security or a related field, with significant experience in security architecture and leading large-scale projects.
  • Deep knowledge of network and endpoint security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), cryptography, cloud security architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), firewalls, VPNs, and security analytics tools (SIEM, SOAR).
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical teams and executive leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
