About The Position

The Principal Cyber Security Architect AI at Bayer is responsible for defining and assessing the company's security strategy, technical architecture, and practices. Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with previous experience in a security engineering role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP-ISSAP or SANS GIAC Security Architect (GDSA).
• Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM.

Responsibilities

• Define and assess Bayer's security strategy and technical architecture.
• Translate business objectives into specific security controls enabled by security technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain a robust Security Controls Framework.
• Lead the design and development of tailored cybersecurity designs for specific threats.
• Oversee the selection and deployment of security technologies and ensure integration into existing IT infrastructure.
• Align IT security requirements with business goals using industry-standard architecture frameworks.
• Curate and maintain relevant Security Standards and Security Architecture Patterns.
• Provide advanced technical guidance to engineering and development teams on secure system design.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber security threats and recommend proactive security measures.
• Foster a unified cyber security approach across Bayer and lead cybersecurity initiatives.
• Act as the focal point for security architecture topics within strategic initiatives.
• Maintain security control sets and standards specific to AI & ML use cases.
• Support the design of secure AI & ML platforms.
