About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cisco Global Sourcing & Supply Chain legal team directly supporting the Global Procurement Services business. We are looking for a fun, creative teammate, hungry to dive into a wide variety of hands on work to help drive the business forward. We're looking for someone who can: Draft, review, revise, and negotiate complex commercial agreements to enable customer success and meet Cisco goals, including a broad range of software and cloud agreements; Develop close working relationships with internal stakeholders as well as have a deep understanding of our go-to-market strategies, business processes, and product offerings; Provide excellent business judgment, advocating for acceptable legal risk to enable business outcomes; Be recognized as expert in role by internal clients; Assist in the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and the legal playbook; and Demonstrate excellent communication skills with colleagues, clients, and customers, including the ability to explain complex issues and positions.

Requirements

  • Bar admission in any jurisdiction with good standing.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience at a law firm and/or in-house.
  • Expertise in negotiating and drafting complex software contracts.
  • Familiarity with legal issues related to procurement, supplier onboarding, and supply chain management.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of cloud-based providers, artificial intelligence, and other technology solutions.
  • Experience with data privacy such as GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws.
  • CIPP/E certification is a plus.
