The Principal Core Solutions Engineer will be responsible for providing advanced pre-sales technical expertise to the national sales team through new service, service expansion, and service renewal opportunities. These opportunities will involve direct interaction with internal personnel, prospects, and customers, through in-person meeting and video conference calls. The successful candidate will be well versed in Cloud, Managed Services, DRaaS, Interconnection, Security, and Colocation environments. The candidate will possess the ability to design, present, and articulate solutions at both the technical and business level that meet customer requirements within budgetary constraints. The candidate will also be well versed in contract renewals, having the ability to bring products and services up to current levels, upgrading environments where necessary, and replacing deprecated parts with supported equivalents. The candidate will be expected to act as a point of initial escalation for technical and process questions from other Core Solutions Engineers.
