Within the Standard Missile Portfolio, the selected candidate will directly manage a complex portfolio of contracts while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, providing contractual guidance, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. This area requires quick turn proposal responses, robust contract completion strategies, and novel contracting approaches. This position offers the candidate a broad opportunity to engage with program leadership and coordinate peers in service of several programs of strategic importance to Raytheon. Requirements

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • Experience in contracts management or closely related fields such as (but not limited to) program management, business management, subcontracts or supply chain supporting USG contracts
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start date

Nice To Haves

  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Experience in contracts negotiations, execution and administration of various contracts aspects (including price, Statements of Work, terms, etc.), and agreements such as Proprietary Information Agreements
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS) requirements.
  • Experience structuring, negotiating, and executing performance-based payments
  • Understanding of financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification
  • Experience with Intellectual Property, license agreements, or teaming agreements

Responsibilities

  • Provide contractual guidance to cross-functional partners to meet customer obligations, achieve company goals, and comply with company policies.
  • Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop and maintain business relationships.
  • Support the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development and negotiation of proposals, contractual agreements, and general contract administration.
  • Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure the contract is followed compliantly.
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they may arise.
