About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP IS Retail - Record to report Consultant responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting end-to-end financial Record to Report processes in an SAP Retail landscape, ensuring accurate general ledger, subledger, asset accounting, and statutory reporting. The candidate must have strong financial accounting and controlling concepts (general ledger, sub-ledger accounting, fixed assets, cost centers, profit centers, allocations) including familiarity with IFRS/GAAP reporting requirements and how they are supported in SAP.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure SAP FI/CO R2R processes including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset accounting, bank accounting, and financial closing setup in a retail environment.
• Integration of R2R with IS Retail modules (MM, SD, CO) covering retail-specific flows such as goods movements, markdowns, inventory valuation, and store operations.
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and R2R automations and collaborate with technical teams through development and testing.
• Drive financial master data relevant to R2R (chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers, GL mappings, financial statement versions).
• Perform and support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing for R2R processes, including defect analysis, fixing, and regression testing.
• Strong financial accounting and controlling concepts (general ledger, sub-ledger accounting, fixed assets, cost centers, profit centers, allocations) Familiarity with IFRS/GAAP reporting requirements and how they are supported in SAP.
