The position involves directing and managing projects in a team environment to produce written analyses used in litigation, regulatory proceedings, arbitration, and consulting engagements. The role requires managing and processing large, complex data sets across various statistical platforms, developing statistical, econometric, and other quantitative data analyses, and drafting reports that interpret, summarize, and explain the results of analytical work performed. The writing must be clear and concise, presenting technical concepts in a manner understandable to non-economists. Additionally, the position is responsible for leading internal teams, providing work instruction, managing workflow and internal deadlines, training and leading new staff, and providing performance feedback. Project management responsibilities include communicating results to clients, responding to client feedback, answering requests, and managing budgets. The role also involves overseeing the final work product for reports, client memos, proposals, presentations, data requests, interrogatories, and expert witness testimony in both litigation and non-litigation environments. The candidate will assist counsel with preparing expert witnesses for deposition and trial testimony, cross-examination, and drafting briefs, as well as participating in the development of new business pitches and events that involve collaboration with potential clients.
