About The Position

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and influence digital sourcing and IT delivery strategies across complex client engagements. As Principal Consultant, Digital Sourcing Solutions, you will work with small to mid-size teams to assess client needs, design optimized sourcing solutions, and ensure alignment between technology investments and business objectives. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, driving strategy development, vendor selection, and contract management while leveraging your deep expertise in technology, operations, and sourcing practices. The position requires a balance of technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and relationship management, with exposure to multiple industries and global teams. You will contribute directly to client value creation while mentoring colleagues and shaping delivery approaches. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and highly client-focused, providing autonomy with strong team support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degrees highly desirable.
• 10+ years of experience in consulting, sourcing, or managed services, with 8+ years leading complex projects.
• 5+ years in IT management or technical delivery roles, including leadership of complex operations.
• Strong expertise in at least two of the following areas: enterprise agility (DevOps), cloud architecture, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, application modernization, analytics/IoT/automation, enterprise architecture, IT infrastructure, data center operations, managed services, or technology modernization.
• Experience with contract lifecycle tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa) and IT services/software/hardware asset management.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information for executive audiences.
• Proven ability to listen to clients, understand business needs, and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Outlook.
• Ability to work remotely within the U.S. and collaborate with global teams.

• Big 4 consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with projects that drive client outcomes, including revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Assess client business and technology needs to recommend optimal sourcing and IT solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives and technology providers.
• Develop and execute IT delivery strategies, including cloud, SaaS, enterprise architecture, and technology modernization initiatives.
• Manage project work plans, budgets, scope, milestones, risk, and deliverables using structured methodologies and tools.
• Lead sourcing agreements and associated transactions, including governance, service delivery, financial, and contractual terms.
• Conduct data analysis, market comparisons, gap analysis, and delivery model evaluations to inform strategic recommendations.
• Mentor team members and provide guidance on methodology, client engagement, and technical expertise.
