As a Principal Cloud Software Engineer, you will play a significant part in helping to craft and guide the future of Enterprise Cloud.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent program from an accredited University/College (or equivalent experience).
• 15+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot building RESTful web services.
• Experience with Hibernate or other Object Relational Mapping tools.
• Background with Redis or Memcached.
• Usage of pub sub-models and message queue.
• Exposure to NoSQL DBs such as Cassandra.
• Demonstrated understanding of cloud design in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, and security.
• Background with Docker and Containers.
• Background with Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Exposure to AWS (Fargate, EC2, IAM, ECR, EKS, Route53 etc.).

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated previous usage of Kubernetes and Prometheus.
• A track record of solving complex problems with sophisticated solutions.
• Prior experience with Go Lang.
• Demonstrated delivery of complex projects in previous roles.
• Experience with load testing frameworks as well as secrets management.

Responsibilities

• Crafting restful cloud services and frameworks that create scalable cloud functions.
• Designing, building, and implementing scalable cloud-based systems for SaaS/PaaS.
• Driving the underlying technology stack.
• Working closely with other teams on new products or features/improvements of existing products.
• Driving performance tuning and automation.
• Supporting, maintaining, and documenting software functionality.
