As a Principal Cloud Computing Administrator, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional IT support to the customer. As a Principal Cloud Computing Administrator, you'll handle cloud systems provisioning and management of cloud services/systems, while maintaining, optimizing, repairing, and recovering government cloud environment infrastructure components. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating SaaS configurations, monitoring changes, facilitating PaaS/SaaS updates, and decommissioning obsolete services. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years of experience in cloud computing administration, with hands-on expertise provisioning, managing, maintaining, optimizing, repairing, and recovering government cloud infrastructure in regulated environments
  • Proven track record coordinating SaaS configurations, monitoring changes, facilitating PaaS/SaaS updates, and decommissioning services for large-scale enterprises
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and transferable)
  • Strong knowledge of federal cloud standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53) and ITIL practices for service operations
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and management tools (e.g., IAM, Virtual WAN)
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex cloud recoveries and optimizations
  • Applies extensive expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines, with the ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment

Nice To Haves

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification
  • Experience supporting DoD or large federal cloud computing environments, including multi-cloud hybrid setups and SaaS governance
  • Background in infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform) and FinOps for cost management
  • Master's degree in a relevant field or additional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Cloud+)
